oh the nuthatch! what a little guy, this was such a throwaway shot at the time. like they are a tiny little dot on the tree in the full picture. on my like third pass through of this outings shots i finally decided to crop way in and basically said "eh the colors and everything look fine", hit export and posted it. i had no idea the kind of response i would get on it. it really felt weird to have it be so "eh" for me and have so many people like it. but now i see it haha, now its one of my favorites too. so thanks yall for helping me see it lmao.

Too many writers are using generative 'AI' to make their book covers, so I've written a guide on how to make your own cover for free or cheap without turning to a machine.

If you can't afford to pay an artist, you CAN make your own!
